Default Creek, we did try that one

As we pulled up to put the boat in last week, there was a gentleman sitting there in his golf cart who told us that they've been catching a bunch there. We fished it for about 30 minutes without a bite though. To many BREAM folks there and they had it surrounded. Least the lake side if it anyways. Think the bank side would be better? We did however find just north of there a nice brushpile and I picked up 2 on it.

Smartelics, I was TRYING to be serious for a change. All set up now, I watched a few on the dock shooting video's with Russ on Midwest crappie. Pretty neat you can watch that on the net. Actually learned a few things

some how my message got posted before i finished. I DON'T REALLY SHOOT DOCKS IT'S MORE LIKE FLIPPING MOST OF OUR DOCKS ARE NOW ONLY 8-12INCHES ABOVE THE WATER, WHICH IS JUST GREAT . WITH A LITTLE PRACTICE YOU CAN FLIP A TUBE JIG 4-5 FOOT BACK UNDER THE DOCK WITH A 10 FOOT B&M CRAPPIE POLE. SITTING ABOUT 15 INCHES ABOVE THE DECK OF YOUR BOAT. SIDE ARMING THE JIG. THIS MONTH HAS JUST BEEN SUPER GOOD BETTER THAN THE LAST 10 YEARS. I'M ONLY FISHING IN ABOUT 5-6 FOOT OF WATER . AND ONLY 36-40 INCHES DEEP. THAT'S IN ILLINOIS SECRET LAKE. HA HA

Default Did the flipping thing last week

Hold the rod up and swing the jig under it, then lowering the rod tip. If there was 2 feet of clearance, I could get back 4 or 5 feet back under there. I'm wanting to get 15 feet back in there cause a couple of these docks are pretty big, 20-30 feet wide

If I Had 2 Foot, You Could Flip A Long Way With The Right Wrist Action. 20 Dock's Not The Problem Finding Which Part Of The Dock Holds Fish Is The Hardest As In Winter They Can Be In A Area Of The Size Of A 5 Gallon Bucket
