..Hey,Moose....just a thought but isn't the fly made out of some sort of nylon/rayon type material..??..what about buying some matching material and taking straps and old fly to someone that can sew to make you a new one...could even have your name sewn it to personalize it..LOL :D ...should be able to get-r-done fairly cheap.....good luck in whatever you decide..
Tighten er down till ya strip it--then back off 1/4 turn..
    HEY,,Y'all watch THIS..........

Moose, not sure if the person you spoke to was at the Binghamton location, or some other corporate location. As far as I know the Binghamton location handles all the tent returns and repairs. They sell all the materials and hardware for tents. I've had some repairs done there, and they are very reasonable and have gone out of their way to help. If you want, you could ship me the fly and I'll take it up there myself.

    Try this site , http://www.ehow.com/how_118020_fix-torn-tent.html

and this one is for eureka teffeta nylon repair tape used to patch rips and such http://store.everestgear.com/117450.html

Maybe if you sent the whole tent to eureka they could remodel it to fit a new model zipper, or maybe send the zipper to get repaired from them or someone. Good luck finding the right fix

    Default BJ-501 tent

Any way i could get a copy of the instructions for setting up this tent? It has been a long time since we used it and I just can't remember how to get the poles to lock. The manufacturer has apparently gone out of business.

    Smile tent

I bought a eureka years ago ...many...and it still works great, NEVER A PROBLEM.. Bought several screen tents and returned em all as they were lousy. Eventually went back to same store and bought a matching screen house to the tent. Again, no problems. Absolutely get what you pay for.
