Don't let some over analyzing person run you off. This is a message board, you are free to post whatever you want, everybodies views are different. If we all thought the same or had the same humor there would be no need to even have a message board to share ideas. If that person didn't like your post so be it, they will get over it, besides they replied to it, so they just added fuel to the fire. I would simply tell that person to just deal with it whether or not they liked it.

You can't please everybody, so you might as well start by pleasing yourself. You are damned if you do, and damned if you don't so you might as well do what you want to do, because either way somebody isn't going to be happy.

Hell at one time, crappie.com blocked my name and IP address until they went to the new forum because they didn't agree with my opinions on an overtalkative female poster, but then again what female isn't overtalkative. I still come back just because most everybody on here is a good person and willing to give ideas, advice, and knowledge.

I really thought about this all last night as I read the post made on the off topic forum ( the original post ) ... folks good clean fun is just that , if the object of the joke isn't complaining who are you to raise a stink . I'll be damned if my family/ friends / or even guys I only know from chatting with on this site put in their time/ effort/ and put their lives on the line for the very Freedoms each and every one of you enjoy to be censored or have those Freedoms stripped away .

I love the site .... I'll miss the site ... but I did my time ... VV68 did his time ... a great deal of you on here did your time .... when we start censoring each other without cause , then what's next ????

VietVet68 I don't know you or the others here all that well but I do enjoy this site and appreciate all the info sharing here. I hate to see good guys/people leave a site like this where they contribute to the knowledge base and share trying to help others.

I will tell you my son is now in training for the Special Forces and was with the 3rd ID when they first entered Baghdad taking the airport and then moving on to downtown.

I would also like to take this chance to thank you for your service!

Mike and Jim. I certainly wish you would reconsider what you are doing. You are letting an individual(s) run your life for you. I don't know who they are and don't want to know. But what I do know is this. I am a drunk. Although it has been over 28 years since I've had a drink, there is one luxury in life I can't afford to have. That is a resentment. Now for me to avoid resentments I had to learn a lot. For instance, I have to always remember that no matter whats going on in my life and no matter who is involved, It is never him, it's never her, it's never them and it's never God. Its always me that has to change (and that sux). But I can't change anyone else. Another favorite is, If I get kicked in the ass, it only means one thing - I'm still out in front! I sure hope you both reconsider. And if someone doesn't like me, That is their problem!! None of this may make any sense to you or anyone else but it is what popped into my mind and I just felt like sharing it with you.

I hate to see good people leave like this. There have been other discussion boards where similar situation occurred and people left. Letting those few who do not like or appreciate humor run the site and eventually close the site down.

I have not always agreed or appreciated some of the posts, but when I did not like them I simply hit the "back" button and do not return to that post. By leaving this way you IMO are loosing the freedom that many of us have served to maintain.

Hope you will reconsider If not I understand and appreciate your service to this great country that we can freely 'agree to disagree'

dont know what the probablem is with VV . but i will be here as long as the site stayes up and will suport it . . i have ben on other sites when others made some remarks about what i said and have ben some here but that is just words and want make me leave maby it is just another excuse . if i wer going to leave i just wouldnt come back .there will qlwayes be some that will say something or be misunderstood about what they said .if that is the reason for leaving all i can saye is good luck and happy fishing . i will be here

I grit my teeth about this. Ain't many of us free spirits left. Most people that do the screaming about rights, privileges, etc. are the ones that ain't done nothing to earn it. I will probable get edited here (nothing unusual), but guys like us have paid the price that allows lots of people to be *******s.
