I've never seen or actually heard about a sacalait fossil, although I would like to since I have an interest in such. Something I did find fascinating (while waiting on a sacalait fossil to show up) was the work of the paleontologists working on some deepwater offshore exploratory drilling I was involved with back in the late 90's. We were drilling at 25,000 to 30,000 feet and the paleontologists job was to take samples of the cuttings we were drilling up and watch for particular fossils that would tell them when we had drilling through a particular age of formation that was prone to have oil and natural gas. These were fossils of extremely small bugs and such. Unfortunalely no sacalait fossils from 20,000,000 years ago as yet.---Pooch
