I have noticed that when it comes to Dads and husbands gifts tools and things to work with seem to be acceptable and in most instances appreciated gifts. But any mom and wifey gift that would be used to do any chore, no matter the necessity, of said chore, is quite frowned upon, and can and usually does, bring a very unappreciative smile of disapproval. Also a reminder for years of the indiscretion.
So my friends, remember a cooking device, cleaning device or any device that does not glitter, or remove said spouse from home for a vacation from you and or children, is a no no.

Merry Christmas to all and blessings to you and yours.
no doubt , a lady at my job wanted some kinda fancy coffee maker thing that cost a bundle and her husband gave it to her for their wedding anniversary

I agree, anyone that you would give a gift to at Christmas or birthday, why wait. I have been similarly doing this with my wife and close family members, even close friends, of sharing gifts throughout the year. While one doesn’t how long they will live, I know at my age the days gone by are greater than the ones ahead. When I find something that I think interests or benefits them I would rather give it to them over and above the other gifts at traditional times. I haven’t regretted it.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
