Just planted our first cherry tree this year. Our apple trees we planted two years ago are loaded this year! YAY

We have a pecan tree that is just starting to have pecans. The squirrels, for the last 2 years, have cleaned the trees early in a morning. We have been fortunate to get one peacan each year. Hope this year is different. We might get 2 pecans.

Growing up Dad had pecan trees. After I graduated I moved next door. A squirrel came hopping across the field heading for the pecan tree. Dad told me to take care of the squirrel. I dispatched said critter with a well placed blast of a 12 gauge. The old man wasn't exactly fond of my choice of artillery in said matter as a stood there holding a very dead squirrel by the tail.

I have thought of that but it is illegal to shoot a gun in our neighborhood.

Air rifle technology has come a long way.

They will definitely take care of squirrels and any other small game. At least my Gamo will.

Just was watching a YouTube video on a guy shooting pest with air rifle. Had the pellets painted as tracers and slow motion video camera. Was very precision and accurate shooting. The air rifle I have has a built in silencer and is pretty quite and I shoot in my neighborhood when needed. Never had a single complaint.

They have a few channels on YouTube that shoot invasive iguanas down in Florida. They have some nice precharged air rifles
