    Default INFLATION!!!!!!!!!

I finally figured out why the Dollar General Store removed the actual word "Dollar" from their signs and replaced them with DG Market. I just stopped in one. There ain't nothing in that store for a dollar. I was needing some bleach to do some cleaning on the outside of my shop and the concrete before I pressure washed. The bleach I used to buy in there for this purpose for $1 (3 qt size of the concentrate) is now $3.70!!!!!!! OUCH!!!!!!

The price of every has certainly went up. If the price has not went up the quantity has been reduced. Often times they have reduced the quantity and raised the price

Yep, the days of “Dollar General” are long gone, sad to say.

Saw an article about Dollar General some time back. Stating the cost per unit is often higher than other places to shop

To keep the name true, they could always just charge a $1 cover charge.

I was stocking up on canning lids the other day and noticed the price of a new pressure canner is up a good $80 from what they were this time last year. I had to buy a new one last year that is compatible
with the induction cooktop we installed. Its over $60 more now.

It will likely get worse. That canner could possibly become priceless

Im holding onto other Presto canner even though it will not work on the new cooktop. It will work on a hotpad if I ever need it.
