I get my second shot on Feb 18. I never knew I had the shot, no pain or problems at all.
My wife gets her first shot this Friday.

TN is not doing well on the distribution either. It all depends on which county you live in. Some had been driving for hours to some counties where anyone could get a vaccination. As of today they are supposedly stopping that practice. My wife just recently retired 4 weeks back. She decided last year she wanted to be in the Pfizer study. Of course they don’t tell you if you got the vaccine or the placebo when they give it to you. But she found out 4 weeks back she got the vaccine.....as they call it they unblinded her. My group is now scheduled for March.....was originally February. What I know is as soon as I get a vaccination we are headed to Arkansas to look for a house. It took a while but I think I have her convinced to hopefully make a move.....LOL.

    Regards

Wow! Are you thinking White River or Little Red?!?!

Arkansas is my home. My grandfather was a guide on the White River. I learned to fish on Bull Shoals. Can’t wait to get back!

PA is 46th for vaccine distribution. It is just flat terrible. Admittedly much is due to not having enough, but the distribution looks to be totally screwed up. Whether you can get any or not seems to be haphazard at best. Then the state changed the age tier structure and added several million to the 1A bracket. A really sad state of affairs. If you got a shot I’m happy for you.

    Take care everybody.

Got second shot Sat. Arm might have gotten a little sorer to the touch than the first. Pretty well gone Mon. Don't feel any sense of relief, just wish I hadn't had to fool with this mess.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Yes, they say the second shot can be a little worse than the first, but a small price to pay. I’m still waiting.....and waiting.

I was fortunate to get my 2nd Covid vaccination last week. Arm was more sore but not unbearable. I expect the VA to contact me soon to say they have a vaccine action for me. It will be nice to pass that on to another veteran. It is unfortunate that a year ago different decisions weren't made that could've improved our response to this pandemic. Looks like we are moving towards a better outcome now. Good luck to those who are waiting.

My wife and I are undertakers and have been around scores of infected people. We each felt that we had something February last year that we recovered from. Each time we get tested we are negative. So we asked about vaccine and were told we were considered third tier, so we do without for now.

Seems to us that the most victims were in our area were around December, with each of our firms busily accepting victims. I entered a home where husband and wife were infected and removed him, then later handled his services with her. I really do not believe masks prevent us from getting sick, and that they are simply to make others feel better. We wear them everywhere because people are scared to death and we don’t want to scare them any further.

We each think the key to surviving is going to doctor sooner rather than waiting until you are fully engaged. Loss of taste and smell are common, as is a persistent cough. Other symptoms can and do occur. Hopefully this will end soon. I still do not feel that the government is telling us what we should be told about this virus.
Maybe they will bite this one……
