I'm pretty impressed with DSL. I've had cable, but often you have a slow down during peak hours (when people start returning home after work until around 8pm). Not too bad, but it does make a difference. DSL is exactly what it says; Dedicated Service Line assigned strictly to you.
Problem with DSL, unless you are within just a few miles of the switch station of your local phone service, you cannot have DSL.
Its more economical than cable too. I pay less than $20 per month and its included in my phone bill.
