Let's see... First of all, Fiddlefarter was "SPOT ON" with The Rendezvous (Ribs) in Memphis.

If you've never eaten at a Brazilian steakhouse such as "Texa de Brazil" in Memphis, it is a meat lover's DREAM come true.

If you're ever in Jonesboro, AR (for whatever reason...) and you like Italian, try Lazzari's.... An Italian JEWEL in the middle of nowhere! As good or better Italian than any I've had in Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, St Louis, etc.

Yep... Lambert's here in Springfield, MO is second only to BassPro as a "must do." I haven't tried ALL the places in Springfield yet, but I do recommend Asian/Pacific Rim - Ocean Zen
    Chinese - Mr Yins
    BBQ - Crosstown
    Family - Ziggie's and Lambert's
    Italian - Digiacinto's

    Hey Crap King..

Ever heard of a place called "Hillbilly Hidaway"?

Used to be up off 220 in the Northern part of the state if I remember right..

Been a few years ago, but I understand they are still there.

They have Live Gospel in the barn Friday and Saturday nights, with home cooking served homestyle (in big bowls on your table).

The food used to be super, haven't been there in years though.
"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them

You was only about 6 miles from my house - a cousin of mine started that restaurant - coming from your area you could have come from 220 - but NC 68 the airport exit off of I40 in Greeensboro to NC65 to Pine Hall Road - you gotta cross over Belews Lake to get there

I am still trying to pay off my credit card from where my mother-in-law wanted to eat there 3 years ago .... good food if you can stand the price....I got a baked potato bigger than an NFL football - that is where they get you ....$28 for the steak and then $6 for the potato $7 for the salad and I think they charged me for dinner rolls extra too - I gotta check my bill they must have charged me for the salt and pepper also

I'm pretty fond of the Porterhouse steak at the OutBack!
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
