Interesting read. From the 1800's to present day, every 7 years somewhat repeated weather patterns without much deviation. Maybe this years El Nino will change the trend and
more rain will fall in the drought areas. In our area it is predicted to have more rain fall this fall, winter and spring of next year. We are hopeful.

Good info! You should also check out "Pandora's Promise" free on Netflix Streaming now.

I am a "Tree Huging" environmentalist! Well, I don't actually hug trees, I sit in Tree Stands to shoot deer!

Everyone said that "Nuke" power was bad. Now we realize that the only way to save the planet and stop all the CO2 in the air and water is ........ Nuke Energy! The only true clean energy.

    - Not one person has ever died from Nuke Power Plants in the history of the US

    - Only 42 people died from Shinova (that un contained nuke plant in Russia.) One week after the "melt down" most of the local people snuck back to their homes and have been living there for 25 years!! no cancer, no early deaths!

    - Only 25 died in that great Japan nuke melt down! That's all, all the dead was caused by the big wave!

How could this be? The big oil companies sponcer the anti nuke ads. They promote wind and solar because they are both "back up" natural gas plants. Everyone knows that we can never power this planet with sun and wind. Only nuke can produce all the power we need, and with no pollution at all.

    - France has the cleanest air and water on the planet now, even better than "green" Germany! France is 80% nuke, and soon will be 100%. Check it out for yourself!

Glad to see so many climate PHDs. Perhaps you should look at the cause of the problem in CA, that is too many people trying to live in what is by nature a rather dry area. This is made possible by transferring water from far away sources sadly these sources are not infinite. The real problem is who gets how much. As far as nukes ,if they can be operated on submarines they can work anywhere provided safety systems are properly maintained.

No one has claimed to be an expert. So, you must be talking to yourself. Population was not the point of the article.

I sure hope you did not go blind reading all the pier reviewed climate articles available for scholarly research in preparation for your dissertation . No doubt you will fill the world of climate science with awe.

That is total nonsense. You are not so clever. Don't insult me with idiotic babble. I read the predictions in my farmers almanac. The almanac stated when there is little or no rain over an extended period, you have a drought. Seems to me that is what the article I posted confirmed.
