The ringing in my ears (tinnitus) from playing in rock n' roll bands when I was a kid. I should have listened when they said "TURN IT DOWN!".

Yeah it sucks don't it? I am 53 years old and my audiologist told me my hearing is the equivalent of an 80 year old. I now wear hearing aids in both ears. He said a lot of guys my age have hearing loss from the same thing...listening to or performing loud music (He called it the "Pete Townsend Syndrome"). I can't make out a lot of conversations without them. I can't hear bird songs or the summer bugs anymore either which I really miss.

Protect your hearing when playing/listening to music, shooting, using power tools etc.
