NG tubes are placed through the nasal area into the gastric region of the stomach. No incisions, no wounds, no reason for any liquid food to be oozing from anywhere.

After placement, the person placing the tube auscultates for sounds of air (it bubbles) as they inject air through the tube. If no sounds of bubbling, then the tube has been placed into the lung. Easy to do if they patient is unconscious. But unless the medical professional placing the tube is a complete idiot, its very easy to check for correct placement and to correct the mistake by withdrawing and re-inserting the tube until its done right.

So deaner, your story regarding the problem with the feeding tube doesn't add up. Draws suspect with me and now that I have shared this, it will draw suspect from others also.

Well, the problem with this thread (I think it should be removed) is that most victims will not read the entire thread, they will base their emotions on the introduction and send money. This gentleman has tolerated all the negative comments made to him in such a manner that I keep telling myself, "No genuine honest man would accept such criticism. He would shake the dust off his feet and disappear."

This guy has kept on, replying with one answer after another as to why he is honest and forthright. Very slow or willing to ever post any legitimate address or bank info that could be verified.

I imagine he believes that any funds sent to him are still gain even if most refuse or some might send money to a legitimate address.......... he knows (based on his introduction) that some will still wire or send funds directly to him.

Now, if not for his insistance he is legitimate and his story regarding the NG tube, I would have condemned each and everyone of you for ragging on him so hard. I would have said prove he is illegitimate before accusing him of doing this for nefarious reasons.

But the more I read, the more it appears (I have no proof) that it is indeed a scam.

If it isn't a scam, then he should insist this thread be removed and then he can start another with the real info that would be needed if this family were the real intended recipients of any money sent.

Guys this reads just like one of those nigerian scams. I read one when I was really boored, from another forum. These guys never give up. It went on for over 30 something pages and six months. The guy was just toying with the scammer.
