George, I think he knew that he was not a great coach and that is why he put a 12 million buy out clause in the contract if they fire him in the first year. A smart business move on his part. I was fooled too though, thought he was going to be a great coach but the games have showed otherwise.

Texas A&M plays Alabama tomorrow at 6:15 on ESPN. Told Ann to get her Roku stick ready - don't have cable, nor satellite. Yours truly will be watching that.

Remembrance of the 12 students killed in the Aggie Bonfire collapse of November 17, 1999. This is what we do for every game. This is how we roll.

No thanks. We've bought out a few. I'll give Muschamp time. Problem is our rival,Clemson, is loaded again this year. Alabama came up short last year and if they think that was a fluke they aren't paying attention. We probably gonna be cannon fodder for them again. We did beat them 5 years straight when Spurrier was here but that's history now

I had six of our Petroleum Engineering students achieve their HUET certifications Thursday at the UL MSTC, a requirement for those going offshore in the petroleum industry. Serious negotiations were involved with yours truly because I wanted it free of charge. I also wanted those boys to have lunch provided as well. They told me that grilled cheese sandwiches weren't involved, oh well. They still got lunch. Once I knew the director at MSTC once played football at Texas A&M, I was off to the races.

I remember doing that in water survival and I do believe ANYONE THAT GOES ON THE WATER SHOULD GO THROUGH THESE CLASSES! I have been on the water since I was a baby and still learned new things in that class! Probably one of the best was how to turn your jeans/coveralls into a life jacket.

My Aggies pushed the No. 1 Crimson Tide to the bitter end last night. Very good game Bama. Obvious my boys took their vitamins for the second half. Well played, enjoyed it. My boys didn't take a knee either.

Giving the grill/smoker a rest this weekend after dealing with the leaves coming down. So glad we dodged the hurricane, didn't want to listen to the generator howling. Ann made a court bouillon and a bread pudding:

Yes, that works nicely. I only fry fish/shrimp/alligator maybe once a month, got to watch my girlish figure. I can BBQ and smoke with the best from Texas. I figure we do well with the locals when it comes to the local flavor. We rarely eat out at restaurants because we can do better. At least we think so.
