Right up the road from here. Mine are high and dry in their barn. They hate rain.
Just heard by text from my friends Rocky and Lisa in Breaux Bridge (Bayou Cabins) the cabins on the Bayou are flooding. Y'all be safe.
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
What are the odds of Louisiana having two 1,000 year floods in five months? Up here in North Louisiana we had ours in March.
Be safe Tracker. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the folks

My daughter now has 1.5 ft of water in her house. The one with the pond where I take pictures fishing with my grand boys. Came up in just a few short hours. I feel ill. No roads open to go help them. So many roads closed around here. On the main drag in Denham Springs(Range ave.) it looks like a lake. I helped a friend who lived one block off the avenue in 1983. He got 21 inches in his house then. That was the record flood until now. This is supposed to crest 5 feet higher than then. I personally know at least 10 people flooding. And no way to reach them to help. Leaves me feeling helpless, but I will be involved in helping my daughter save her home when we can. She does not have flood insurance as it was not required or shown as a flood zone. Prayers please. Danny
