A beautiful morning, 60* air temp and 70* water temp. No wind, hardly a ripple on the water and fish jumpin' everywhere. Cousin Steve was chompin' at the bit.

Our friend Larry reminded us why we rolled out at 5:30 am and got on the water early to fill our cooler.

Yepper, with permission of course. Leave no trace of having been there. It was right next to the ramp.

Good karma, I led Slab to an add for an enclosed trailer in the classifieds. He had told me he was looking for one. Well, the deal went through. And Mrdux of Kentucky sent me a little thank you care package. Thought I would share a pic.

Let's see some pictures please. I would enjoy that. The one thing I miss living in the city is the kids showing up at the door, I really enjoyed that. It's been a very long time, was wondering if the tradition still exist.

Finally quiet around here. Every year about this time Ann's friend stays here before going to their annual Lab rescue function in New Orleans, a fund raising event. A big deal, good for them. This Texas women is retired from the Texas department of corrections. She's rude, obnoxious, opinionated, and straight forward. I'm sure her husband (Ron) enjoys the break. Don't understand why Ann tolerates such folks. Then again, I get along well with her for some reason. They will be gone all weekend, and will come back Monday. Here's where they're at:

Very good I say, that's the way I like it.
