Thread: New Member

Hey yall,

Just joined up here, some of you may recognize me from other boards. Thought i would say hello and introduce myself. I'm Brad from Raleigh, and i fish and hunt for a living. I survey land on the side because i have to. I figure i might as well post a report along with my introduction.

I fished saturday morning bright and early at the Eno River around PB. It took a little while to find a spot that had not been cast netted or even worse, fished out by buzzbait:D It wasnt long before i found a nice little hole full of fish. These were, on average larger fish than the ones i've been catching. Lost a whopper and caught at least 5 or 6 females. Also a nice largemouth bass on the top water plug to add a little suprise. I returned to the same spot this morning early and to my suprise they werent biting nearly as good. Tried some other spots that looked fishy and less pressured but didnt produce. I finally tried the other spot again on the way back and the fish were chewing. It was like a switch turned on. It was about 10:15 or so and i had to go to work. No pictures this time. Will post some others one day. Here's a picture of the biggest white bass i've caught this year. All the wb have been released safely for another year of breeding. Hopefully those will help make up for the men armed with nets and green cards.
