    Default Blt. falls report 04-24-08

fish on the banks, fished from 3 til 7 limited-out and started culling, every one on the banks were catching too. we pulled jigs in 10 to 12 ft down about 6ft seemed like the fish were everywere. dark colors worked the best, junbug/chart,blue/chart, tripple tails and sourgrape sliders.

    Is that Blewett Falls Lake?
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

If you are headed for the Dead Sea (Blewett Falls), be sure to check for the current lake levels. Blewett is notorious for wild flucuations in lake levels. Yesterday it was 2 1/2 ft. above full pond....which means the docks are under water. Sometimes it's so low...the docks are completely out of the water. Up and Down...all the time.

Right now wildlife is installing a new floating dock...Slowly:rolleyes: ...which should help with launching under varying conditions.

Call 1-800-899-4435 and then press 3 for the current lake levels at Tillery and Blewett.
