    Default Kerr Scott 4/23 evening

We got to fish for a couple of hours. Fish didn't seem to be in any kind of real pattern...but I've quit trying to figure this lake out. We weren't skunked though! Found some crappies in THICK brush on the banks. Nothing big but at least we caught fish. Fished in the Yadkin. Jigs...best seeming to be blue w/ chart. Beautiful evening on the water. Took along a turkey call and had 3 toms talking to me! Anybody know if that's public land in that area?

You caught em in thick brush? Might be spawning. I dunno about the land...

I believe the land surrounding the lake is owned by the Corp of Engineers....no hunting allowed. What was the water temp?

People keep telling me the fish are there but after 15 years of fishing it...well...it's just not that good a lake for fish for whatever reason. It is close though...I don't know...wih=sh it was better.
