Caught in 7' with a homemade trolling/minnow rig and on one of my new 10' pro anler tackle rods. I thought I had another catfish on. This fish hit like a northern pike and fought like a smallmouth bass. 7:45pm. I apologize for the poor image quality.

Here are 2 fish from 081808. The almost 16" fish bit on a jig tipped with a mamed minnow that had been shaken off the bobber pole by a previous fish.
