wearing a necktie dont sound like too bad of an idea for qualifyin for a seat on the beast. im gonna have to think about that one. wine wont be a problem. dont think the guys will have a problem switching over to wine from what ive seen em chasing hot sausages and chips with.

Rango, while your cleaning the Beast and her occupants have you thought about a coat of paint and some new carpet.

P.S. The tie should color cordinate with the paint and carpet.

If that happens Rango will be too busy sleeping to fish. The weather is not a problem for me. It's, It's, It's that dirty word WORK.

i tried carpet in the beast but that dint work. it created its own particular smells when it would get wet which would make a maggot gag. now we fish off bare wood, which cut down on the smells and wetness to. Normally weather aint a problem if it hits after i get set up. I have rain protection but it will take a team of good mules to get me to put in during a weather situation as you cant stay dry puttin in, gettin to location, and settin up in rain. Work is a ugly word which we try not use around the beast as it seems to get the crew down and out. as it is, a lot of nights i will do some sleeping as the crew happily hauls in the slabs. Most of the fish caught is caught by the crew and not me, but like i tell em,, since its my ship and im the captain, i also get credit for all fish caught...

preparing the boat to put in at allison wed night we got hit by a downpour so we abandoned the trip and headed home. this am i went out to check on the beast and found i had forgotten to take the plug out and it was about half full of water with everything in it floating. i set a carp rig up hoping to get a hit but had no luck after an hour so i drained it. im sticking with the crappie in a bigger body of water than the beast provides.

Default i know how you feel rango

my boat has been sitting outside at the basspro for going on three weeks now waiting to get the bleeping livewell and pump fixed. they said i was second on the list about a week ago. still no word yet from them. if they only get to one boat a week, they must be going out of business soon. normally i have had a good experience with them when i went in for service. this time it is ridiculous.
