    With that Elite 5 you have its going to be very hard to find brush unless you ride over it. You would save time by just dropping your own. You can drop more in an hour than you can find in a few days with the small unit you are running. As far as where to look if you are set on doing it that way, go to the most populated areas of the lake. People don't usually drive very far with brush on their boats.

    well if that unit is all you have then i would put it on 2d and adjust it right and run about 15 mph siz sag at the depth you want to fish per time of year,at this time of year points near mouth of creeks should have some on them,i use to find them all the time with just 2d still find them running 30 mph while going from one place to another

    On my Helix 7 what is best range for si . Taking it out for the second trip first one was short.
