You right about that! Hope it goes well. Been there twice with both my knees being replaced. Not fun at all! Good luck I'll be praying for you.
Saw where a bait and tackle store on Kerr lake weighed in crappie yesterday and today that went over 3 pounds each. Meanwhile I'm just sitting here in the recliner 16 days out from knee replacement surgery. Its going to be painfully boring round here with no fishing.

Do you have good range of motion? PT is like making a date with Terrorist.

Hopefully I will get me a 3 # someday.

Hey, don't let knee surgery stop you. I got both hips replaced a few years back, each one year apart. Scheduled it middle of February so I could be crappie fishing the first of March. Got me a real comfortable chair for the front of my boat. A little tricky launching a boat on crutches but most of the time nice guys at the boat ramp were willing to help a man on crutches. I just made sure to put my life jacket on at the truck before going toward the dock. A little painful getting into the boat but great fishing after that. Plus getting paid medical leave from work while crappie fishing can't be beat! Additionally, I found that bending your legs is not so painful when you are running a trolling motor or putting a big crappie in the live well. Better than PT. In fact my PT person couldn't believe my progress. Didn't tell her it was because I was crappie fishing every day.
SO! I am one vote that crappie fishing is great PT after knee surgery. Good Luck!

I hear that Flyrods. Glad your recovery went well. I think maybe next week I'll get one of my friends to help with boat launching and driving the truck. I'm not cleared to drive and probably won't be until end of February. I bought some new baits yesterday so I'm chomping to get on the water. We got rain in the forecast next 7 days in a row so I might have a few more healing days before the boat goes in the water.
Be careful with those doggone painkillers.
