Default Some Saturday Screenshots from Jordan

Thought you may enjoy a few shots from yesterday on the water. Fished a little and caught two over a pound, but most of the day was dedicated to electronics. Some of the shots are classic cold water ones with the shad schooling up for winter. The one big surprise of the day was how high the shad are in the water column with water temperature around 54.

Old Pea Ridge Road bridge--my grandparents home was a couple of hundred yards from this bridge. Loads of bait in the water. Lots of structure for the bass guys out there.

Classic Jordan schools of shad. The two fish following the school are probably bass by their size.

With the water at 54, surprised so many fish at 12'.

    Another typical Jordan shot.

Wow that is amazing, never really thought about it but a day dedicated to working the kinks out of my Garmin and learning to read it would really pay off if I could get it to look half this good. Thank you very much.

Those are some nice shots. I spent this summer away from the tubers, jet skis, recording, learning. Now I am starting to see the benefits of my labor. What unit are you using?

i see your unit is operating at 13.9 volts, that seems real high to me, nice pics, but in si it reads 12.1-11.9volts (which is normal) is it the same unit, what made it change, are u running the unit off a 24volt system?

I think they have a new Solix. Those things are pricey, but those are the best shots I've seen. Good job Men.

Using the new Solix 10, but have had some issues. I think they are now all resolved with the exception of the transducer setting. We're going to need to make an adjustment to make sure it is perfectly level. When we are on a level flat, I should be seeing the exact colors and reading on both sides. Right now I think we are off a little bit.

Over the past couple of years with the Onix I have never turned on the volt meter reading on the screen. In trying to solve some issues, I now leave it on so I can watch the meter readouts. Some are around 13.8 and that is with the big motor running. We have a 24-volt trolling motor, but have completely separate batteries dedicated just for the Minn Kota. With the big motor off, the volt reading will drop and you can see one reading at 11.9. I will keep watching the volt readout to make sure it doesn't drop any lower.

you can definetly tell with the dark on one side and instant bottom on the other side that she still needs some tweaking, though it maybe more of an on the water wieght balance issue

The new mega-imaging technology is great, but does need more fine-tuning than in the old days. You have to spend time on the water getting things dialed-in just right.
