    Default Moss 3/6

Hello everyone first post on here and figured I'd make it a short report. Went to moss Monday evening for a couple hours solo after work. Longlined jigs and caught between 40 and 50 in about an hour and a half. Once I got on them it was chaos. Caught 6 hybrids between 12-18 inches and a bunch of spots. Kept 20 between 3/4 and 21/4 lb. Fish were around 10' deep in 12 to 25 fow with the biggest fish coming from around 20 fow. All fat with eggs. WT 56-57. Anyone who fishes moss regularly has seen me for years. I'm always in a white Lund either solo or with my dad chasing crappies or hybrids. Give me a shout if our paths cross.

Welcome from Stokesdale. Good to hear of another longliner in a Lund boat.

Welcome. That's a good way to introduce yourself to the board. Folks will appreciate that more than someone's first post asking where the fish are. Fishing is still pretty hot right now if you find the magic depth. We really pounded then this past weekend too. Funny thing is when the fish get a little tough to find you see a lot less people fishing. We had the lake (not Moss) pretty much to ourselves this past weekend.

Thanks for the welcome guys. It was a busy evening for sure. I love it when it's like that. They really lit up about an hour and a half before dark. Had to cut my spread down to keep up.
Rick, I love longlining and my Lund. We've been picking at them pretty good for the last few weeks. I just can't seem to get more than a couple hours in at a time lately because of other things going on.

Thanks for the report, Moss is my home lake, if you been out there much you have seen me, 18.5 targa( tracker with wind shield)Single pole jigging, on brush. I'll watch for you, I dont get started good on moss til April, I striper fish and catfish too, so in the winter time I'm on wateree or murray, twice a week or more. You can search my past reports on here from moss.

Good catch. Hope to see you fishing Moss. I fish out of a red TXW Bass Tracker.
