I use two deep cycle batteries, wired parallel, on MK 55 lb terrova. On a day with lots of wind can run all day, no problem.
Have to replace TM battery. I have 55# thrust 12V co-pilot. I need best bang for the buck. Also....Anyone using two batteries to increase use time? Is it worth the money and weight?

Run 2 of the 27 or 29 DC parallel and you will be able to run all day long with no problems.
I just bought 2 of the Everstart Maxx group 29 for my 80# Terrova, they are tough to find, but come with a 2 year warranty, and I played with it for a few hours last weekend, and had only dropped the voltage 1 battery on the battery meter. This included running it on the fastest setting, spotlockng, autopiloting, and just bumping along.

dekas, deka makes batteries for orielys by the way, get a group 31 and you should be fine but 2rigged parallel u should never worry about losing power, but for normal folks just having a good time 1 group 31 should do just fine
