    dont forget to drop your motors in the yard before the hard freeze sets in. if not, you may do some damage! stay warm!

    For those with older motors... My father will put a box around the lower unit and run a 40 watt light bulb.. That will keep the temp above freezing. May come in handy if there is any amount if water in the lower unit.

    Well done Pete. Good reminder for the boat owners.......sorta like "don't forget the close the foundation vents" on your house. Real cold weather down here in the south can certainly leave it's mark if we don't prepare.

    Thanks! Put a storage around the lower unit of my Yamaha and jump a light bulb. Can't afford a major expense like that. Thanks again for the reminder. Also don't forget the cold weather drain on batteries.
