Default Norman 11-18 pre front fishing

Fished Norman today in hopes of catching some dinner, and ride around looking for fish for some upcoming trips after Thanksgiving. Just my 2rd trip out since bringing my boat back from the salt, both similar results. Fished roughly 1 hour and rode for 3.

20 Crappie and 1 big shellcracker. released about another 10 or so.

2 crappie were about 10 inches, and the other 18 were bigger with most in the 1 1/4 - 1 1/3 range.

Cant wait til it cools down some more to get the jet skiers off the water and the bait starts to ball up!
Some LARGE hybrids and striper are biting on the good ole trusty A-rig, just nothing consistent yet for the little time ive been out.

Boats in the shop (friends house) for a few much needed improvement. Will be hitting them hard after Thanksgiving!

Full day 1/2 day or evening Striper/Crappie fishing trips available at a very affordable price for
Lake Norman, Badin, Wateree, High Rock.
Individual maker of the heavy duty "hybrid" A-rig Trolls just like an umbrella rig, Guaranteed to put fish in the boat

I assume Alabama rig which is the chandelier looking rig with 4-6 curly tail grubs or swim baits on it to look like a small bait ball.

Hey Pete, for what it's worth, up here on Belews Lake, the fish have been in thick bait balls for about a month.
