Default ONS Top Shelf fishing Festival great fun

I had a great time yesterday with my assigned wounded warrior and his caretaker. Lots of laughing, eating, and yes...catching fish. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped pull this off. Special thanks to Terry and the great host at Bells Church with the dinner. Hope everyone got home safe.

I second that. We had a great time till the rain hit. I drove 3 1/2 hours in wet clothes. Terry and crew once again did a great job putting this important event together.
Looking forward to the next event.
Pretty soon I'll have enough American Flags to decorate the neighborhood.

I'll add a amen to the comments above with the exception that I had just enough time to get my rain suit on. My Father called a couple of times and told me about the storm in Raleigh and the storm in Pittsboro. Good thing for us is that being in the middle, we didn't have rain until the very end.

I can also get spoiled having someone deliver me honey buns and other snacks on the water.

Here's a picture of the Marines and Air Force working together. Gerry was our guest on the boat and he is a retired Marine. Charles is retired Air Force, so we had lots of good stories on the boat. At one time, this fish was in the lead for biggest of the day at 1.55.
