Charles and I hit Jordan again today to see if the fish were biting. With some lower temp's earlier this week and just a little moon, we thought things would be better than last Saturday. Not only was it better, it was actually a good day on the lake.
The bite was on all day with about 30 perch and 30 crappie. All the perch were small and a lot of the crappie, but some were nice, as in the picture below. This crappie was right under 14" and we had several in the 12" range. Caught a couple of largemouth bass and catfish as well. It was a sweltering day, but fun day on the water. We were both fishing five rods and we hit a school of perch and it was game on. I had four of my five hit at the same time. We fish two hooks per rod and at least four times Charles was bringing in two at a time. One time I brought in a catfish on bottom hook and crappie on the top.
Took some good screenshots, but somehow the setting got changed so that they did not save to my SD card. Off the water for a couple of weeks and then probably will hit Tillery next. Got to start getting ready for Capp's tournament.
Great job guys!

Good day on the water for August and a weekend.

If you gonna practice for Capps tournament enter the church tournament on Oct 1. Just $50 per boat win $1000. You may learn something at weigh in and win entry money for CCA on the 8th.
That is an excellent catch in this heat and humidity that we are having. Thanks for sharing
Shane and I were talking last week about entering the church tournament as well as the CCA. Who do we need to contact to register?
capps cousin runs it, great even, this one will be the first one i have to miss since they started
