    Default Help-Terrova

OK. So I finally bit the bullet and updated to a Terrova. Spent all day Saturday and half of Sunday getting it mounted. Went to the lake here in the neighborhood and loved everything about the motor except for a noise coming from out of the motor. Looks to me like the shaft the prop fits on is bent. Anyone ever had something like this happen? Thanks.

A friend of mine bought 3 before he got one that the shaft was not bent. He noticed them as soon as he took them out of the packaging.

you dont want one with a bent shaft, I run my power drive with a bent shaft and it eat the bearings and seal out, got water in it, froze and broke the magnet, Had to totally rebuild it.

I have an appointment with Triangle Trolling Motors to check it out. Hoping to be on the water by the weekend.
