    Default Jordan 4-2-16 Report*

Took my daughter to Jordan Saturday afternoon and we managed a decent catch. After a few hours the final count was 37 mostly undersized crappie but we did get a few keepers. Largest was 1lb 11oz that my daughter reeled in. With the lake being so high it definitely moved them from where we were catching them. All caught on minnows in 20' of water and released for another day.

What was the water temp? Did any of them have any eggs in them?

Water tamp was in the low to mid 60s Saturday where I fished. About 50% of the 20 I had still had eggs.

We had 2 that had eggs including the one my daughter is pictured with. I figure the rest were males. The girls need some time to recoup after spawning but will be ready for the summer bite.

My wife and I kept 20 ranging in size from 11.5" to 12.75". All had eggs. Water temp was 67 degrees 7 to 10 feet deep.
