Default Line weight for my own crappie rigs

    Hey guys,

I usually fish 4lb line and would like to tie some rigs up so I can just put a swivel on my line and can quickly change out colors of jigs and whatnot for kayaking. What line weight do you use for the rigs you tie? Should I stick with the same 4lb line?

    Thanks

I use 6 lb on my reels and 4 lb on my rigs, I have about 16 ready to go at all times.

I use 8 on my reel. a couple of years ago I caught a 5lb. bass while crappie fishing. It was one heck of a fight. I 'm glad I had the 8lb. instead of 6lb.

Really?? My goal is to catch fish that weigh more than my line test.
