    Default Night Fishing Lights

Ok guys just a little advice on making your lights. Take it slow putting it together lay everything out before you start you have to go in steps or you will find you have done something to soon remember pvc glue bonds instantly so don't build till your sure that you haven't left any thing out. I use only pvc glue on mine I thought well if it will keep water in it will keep it out I put my weight in the bottom in a separate compartment to make sue its right for what I want I have put a couple pics. on here hope you can see the bottom ok. If you want you can PM me and I will give you my number so I can help if you need it.

Thanks the first 2, I built worked good a few times before they got leaks in them so I have refined the design, the ones I make now are a far better light than my first ones were.

You can do the top lights with UV and use florescent line I have one like that. I get this type lighter plug from e bay to use they come with 10' of wire on them. I started using 1" caps on the inside ends of mine instead of couplings I drill a small hole in the 1 1/4" cap & the 1" cap run my plug in wire through both make my wire connection inside my light then tie a knot in wire above connection inside 1" cap then I use 100% silicone to seal the hole in caps inside & out. I use 2 pieces of " pipe on mine with a 1" coupling between them this gives you a float line to set your weight with.

Do you mind me asking where you get your lights and clear pipe from?

Trial and error last year building the same design. Finally found the right combination. I had to order the clear pipe. It was the only thing I could not find locally. Did you find yours locally?

I used the clear cover that go on paint shop florescent lights you find it at Lowes 8' stick is around $5.00 its tough and works good the lights I get on E bay I have paid as little as $3.00 for them just have to shop around on E bay best priced lights are from China takes a few weeks to get them but beats paying $10 and up for the same thing in US.
