    Default Falls Lake Crappie 1/11/14

I fished Falls Lake for Crappie Yesterday. Water Temp 43ish. I stated at Spot A and caught a few Quick.. Then decided to check out spot B down closer to the Dam where I caught them a couple weeks ago... Nothing but a White Perch down there. Since nothing was happening I moved back to spot A and finished the day off.

Total for the day was 15 in the livewell. Smallest was 11" and the Largest 13". These were all caught on the bottom in 25ish feet of water. What a difference a year makes. Last year at this time I believe I was catching them 12' deep either in 12 FOW or suspended.

Oh well here is a Pic of what I took home.

Nice fish, Tony! I haven't been up there for 3 or years, but may have to give it a try.

JL, I almost made the trip east, but since I just put the new Solenoid on, I figured it was better to stay local. Besides, I heard there was ICE out there! I may scout it out next Sunday...

Good job Tony. Keep them notes from year to year, so you'll know for sure how, when and where. When you fish as much as most of us do, it's hard to keep up with patterns over a long period of time.

Jeremy spoiled most of us with those notes he used to keep.
