Bad news....38 lookers and no one knows.
Has anyone been up the Eno or Flat since the water came up 2 feet?
I drove across the Flat today on 75. Was surprised at the water, wasn't muddy at the bridge. Real good current. Crossed below the dam yesterday and they are really pulling water out. I think I'm going to try it on Tuesday.
We hit it yesterday about an hour before dawn till about 1 pm. Fish were very scattered, only picking up one or 2 here and there along with a ton of little perch. Still ended up with 30-40 but mostly small ones. Had 4 over 10" and one @ 13.5".
You just gonna sit there an argue, or fish?

Jigs. Kalin's Acid Rain on chartreuse heads caught almost every fish.

Water is pretty muddy and high. Current does not look to bad. Pretty sure the flat is clearer. I am thinking about ledge rock.

PapaDave, any particular way to go about catching the perch? I need to catch a decent bit for an upcoming catfish tourney. I haven't been on the eno in a while, and it would be fun to go out there to catch my bait.
Nothing left to do but Smile Smile Smile
We're tightline trolling for the crappie ....... the little perch tend to hit white curlytails more than anything else. Last year, just for the heck of it I put on a bunch of 1.5" white curlys on heads with smaller hooks than I use for crappie. Caught a ton of little perch ........ that got old quick though.

I think it's just put anything shiney in the water and the perch will bite it. I have found that they are moving a good bit. Last time up there (last week) I didn't get anything until the straight before the second ramp on the Flat. The week before that they were around the powerlines. Good luck. I'm thinking about 3 days up there next week.
