Did you go to Tuckertown today? Probably not.

Crappie fishing is my lighthouse of sanity in an insane world,
It keeps me from crashing on the rocky shores of everyday life.

No hawk, I didn't. I went to badin for bit and bout got blowed off the water. Couldn't stay at good speed to spider rig. Caught 6-8 fish, all really good size but very slow or maybe I just couldn't tell when I had a bite. All on minnows in bout 20'fow, 12-13 ft deep. Nothing but perch bit jigs. Still had good time. I think tuckertown is back up and the hwy 49 ramp is fixed. I'm gonna switch to the town soon. It's my favorite fall/winter place.

Is the black algae as bad in the winter as warmer weather? Looks like it would foul up your lines.

No algae not near as bad in winter. That's one reason I love fishing there in winter
