    Default High Rock

Went out for a few hours today and wasn't really catching anything. Tried jigs, minnows, everything. Went to quite a few places and had no luck. Wondering if anylne else was having the same problem?

I was out last Sunday and didn't get a bite. Water was 57 degrees in the main lake and the creeks tried deep brush, and shallow brush. didn't mark any in the channels either. Gonna give it a try again this Sunday. They have got to turn on soon. I'm starting to develop a twitch from withdrawls.

Tried again today 11am-7 didn't have much luck hardly any keepers. Lots of largemouth bass though full of eggs and even caught a cat on a jig today. Unfortunately will be headed back home tomorrow hoping for a good last day in the morning. Thinking I may have came down a little too early this year :/

Where are you coming from? If it's very far, feel free to contact me ahead of time. I yes to make the trip from Ohio and know the disappointment when timing is wrong. I live on High Rock now and fish mainly for Crappie.
The fish you catch, were they shallow?

The ones we caught today were on the banks. Only about 5 keepers. Seemed to me they're starting to make their way to the bank and I unfortunately made it down on the wong week. This week should be much better

I was at High Rock for a bit Friday afternoon. Main channel and mouths of creeks were muddy but found clear water not far behind. Didn't catch many but they are still deep. We need about a week of 70* days to get the water temp where the fish can go shallow.

I was out today from about 9:00 to 1:00. Caught about 20 or so and released them all to go put on some more weight. Fish were holding really tight to brush in 2 foot of water. Water was 67 degrees. I have to go up north for Easter. Looks like I might miss the best of it.
    Good luck everyone.
