Just a quick report on the White Bass. I fished yesterday afternoon with all the other crazy people. I was at the big pool below the parking lot. Between 2 of us we managed about 20 good size WB. About 1/2 were females. I have not fished there in weeks but it looks like they are starting to move in pretty good. Still not fast and furious like i like it but it will do. Good reports of bunches of fish caught down close to and past the old RR tracks. Sounds like the best bite is early in the morning..
Be careful.. The game warden told us that several fishermen have been robbed in the past 3 weeks. What is this world coming too?

Not seeing many crappie caught in the last week or 2. Haven't picked up a good school on the DI since the first of the month.
Fishing was quite a bit slower today than it has been in the lower part of the river .. figured they'd moved on up to Penny's & beyond.
Monday water temps were 47-49 most of the day .. today it was 54 @ 7 this morning. Caught my first little ones of the year early and picked up a few fat girls around 10 or so.
From what I can tell the bite is done by 11:00. Haven't tried late evening.
You just gonna sit there an argue, or fish?

Couldn't find anything on the news sites about robbery. A car breakin might not hit the news, but an armed robbery usually does.
