Everyone that is interested in crappie fishing in our state should attend.

Just a reminder that NC Wildlife Fisheries biologist Jessica Baumann will be meeting with those interested this Saturday at 9:00 at the Farrington boat ramps. We are planning to meet under the big oak tree unless someone else is there. If so, we will meet at the parking lot to the left as you drive in. Jessica will be sharing data from testing that was done this past winter and fall. She also wants to hear from those of us that are passionate about crappie fishing on Jordan Lake.
I'm planning to pick up a dozen biscuits and bring some ice tea. Some of you guys may want to bring some goodies as well. Monk said he had a table he can bring, so we can set up a food serving area. I told Jessica we will have a table there in case she has any handouts she wants to make available.
Feel free to bring your boat and fish after our meeting. With the forecast to be 88, I'm thinking that sitting around drinking iced tea and talking crappie fishing may be better than trying to fight all the boats on the lake.

Catch and release in hot grease
Jessica just emailed me to ask how many were going to attend. She wants to have handouts for everyone. I told her to plan on 25 and if more show up, we can figure out a way to get the information out to each one. I also told her that folks from across the state were coming to attend and although she will have testing data specific to Jordan, please share share how other bodies of water are impacted by natural and man-made circumstances.
Looking forward to this...Thank you Dennis, for setting this up!

I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could
I can't make it as I have company here at the house, please post up some notes or something
well tell those of us that had to work how it went?
Yeah, stuck at work or would have been there. Inquiring minds want to know.

Take a kid outdoors!
I'm writing a summary of my notes.
