Default White Bass in the ENO

Hope you guys got your stuff together for the run of the White Bass in the ENO river this year. Should be happening any time now.. I think this is going to be a good year.

I will hopefully be back in action by late March. (rotator cuff surgery last week) That will still give me about 4 weeks to get a few.

Good luck guys. If you have never fished the river for White Bass then you are missing out. Make sure you give it a shot this year. They are some fun fish to catch on a ultra light.

Hope you can grab your rod soon.
I actually try a few cast this evening. The water level is still high and may rise tomorrow. I will try this weekend and let you know.

Thanks Mac. So far so good. The 1st 4 days were pretty rough. Felt like someone had beat me with a bat.

Tony, you need me to tell you where to go. That's why you want me on the boat.

Thanks for the report Jun. I will keep you posted. My bud is going to start fishing for them this weekend if the water clears up. I think our early season spot is going to be very good this year. The water level looks real good. Should bring them in closer so we won't have to walk so far this year.

BUZZ, know what you're going through! had both shoulders repaired in a 4 month period in 09. i didn't get to complete PT on my shoulders and I'm still sore as all get out. Do exactly what the Dr's and PT's tell you or you'll have problems forever! Good luck with you PT and soon you'll be back on the water full strength.

Eno is the name of the river that feeds Fall of the Neuse Lake.

Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!

OK educate me a little. Back in the day(way back) The ENO fed Lake Mickey and I thought the overflow from Mickey started the Neuse River. Did Falls change all that? I haven't lived in CH sense 69.

I would love to take a trip up there but it is a long trip for me and I was wondering might there be a personal guide to show me the ropes the first time. I would be willing to trade a dog days of summer crappie trip down here, at a awesome spot. Joe
