Default Not crappie but nice fish anyway

My wife and I had our first trip out yesterday. We went trout fishing. She caught the 4 bigger ones . I caught the 5 smaller ones. I sure am glad she likes to fish with me. Name: 003.jpg

Good looking fish! Gat any good recipes for them? I've tried and tried and just can't seem to make them taste like much.

I must confess these are city trout. We caught them at Lake Higgens just outside of Greensboro. We caught then on Berkly gulp trout. We tryed worms first could not get a bite. When we got home I cleaned them and cooked them just like crappie. The trout tasted good, but I would rather have crappie.

Yes they are . The trout are raised at a hatchery them trucked to a pond about a acre in size at Lake Higgens .
