I havent decided TT or Jordan. TT is closer but with all of the reports about Jordan I think the extra distance would be worth it. This would be the 1st trip out since last october.
Have you heard if anyone is catching at TT?
Anyone going crappie fishing on tuckertown this weekend? feb12,13

we didn't catch many maybe 20 but no keepers. the wind was pretty bad though. I plan on going again next weekend, and the water should be cleared up by then
Any tips for early season crappie right now? Depth or good area to look at. Try fishing the channel saturday in 30 feet of water and nothing. But caught a nice 14 inch crappie at the mouth of a creek right on the bottom in about 17.5 feet dropping off to 30 something feet. Try for about 2 hours and couldnt even buy another bite. Mark alot of bait and some fish at the mouth of Flat creek but couldnt get nothing to bite. Hopefully i could pattern somthing out.!!!!!Wish u could catch them here this time of year like Jordan Lake.
Did you try the Hi-way 49 Bridge? And how about the creek channel coming out from the trestle at Newsom?
i have been catching them in cabin creek and flat swamp, but didn't do to good this past weekend. planning on going again on sat.
