    Default High Rock draw down

Just read about the High Rock draw down. Looks like 10 feet in the mark...

Alcoa to draw down High Rock Lake for maintenance | The-Dispatch.com

Lake is already down about 7 feet. 3 feet shouldn't make alot of difference. Except maybe southmount and flatswamp might be the only place to put in at. Personally, I have never fished the lake at 10 foot down. Maybe it will congregate the stripers for a little while. They sure have been scattered for a while. :D

i dont like it, if we dont get enough rain the lake wont fill up in time for the crappie spawn and that will just ruin the best part of the year, i know we can still catch 'em with the water down but it wont be near as fun.
When in doubt, set the hook.

If gas prices start soaring within the draw down period, I won't mind getting to some of my old favorite places on foot

Didnt we have pvc and holes were being bored or has it been used or not gotten yet? We need to probably get started with the work details and get them out in time for spawn, is that what we are trying for? New to this. Condos worked good.

Bobby I have to pick up some PVC from Seasons and Turkeyfoot. Then Grays72chev has agreed to cut the pipe and bore the holes. Then we will need to make some molds to pour the cement in. Then take the PVC to the ramps...along with the bamboo. We will put them together in the boat and drop them. You are right..they need to be made up and poured.
