    Man that sounds scarry! The "almost" part of that statement is most excellent! Dont keep us waiting too long. I know you got that happy to be alive feeling though.

    Yea I did a stupid a couple of years ago. Me and grandson launched at Wateree ramp and got 300 feet from ramp and grandson said papa there is water in boat. I looked down and saw the water and hit it quick as i can back to ramp and boat was slow to get back. Finnaly got back to ramp and started to get water out. That was a close one. Do not forget to put drain plug in before you get into water.

    most anyone that ever owned a boat has done this....you probably will never forget again....if you can access the drain plug from inside the boat and this happens then try to get up on a plane and the water will run out....used to do this to get accumulated water out....
