Thread: Not fishing related but...........

had three of mine gone through one night in the driveway. luckily i had taken my pistol out and there was nothing else in any of the vehicles...... all were unlocked. I hate it, but i lock my stuff now. really... i hate it.... shouldnt have to do that.

I had the same thing happen to me when I lived down in florida. Some SOB stole a nice browning pistol from my truck.. I reported it to the police and gave them the serial number but I have never gotten it back.. over 7 years ago...
nothing worse...
gotta lock your stuff up and that doesnt even keep all out..

They are doing it in the middle of the day! My mom came home the other day about 4 pm, caught 3 going through the building in the back yard, had 1 sitting on front porch watching out , he ran around the house when she pulled in, that's how she found them, she went to see who it was and there they were, 1 of them was a girl, they were not scared at all. The law came and didn't do much because they were all out side when he got there, they had not picked up anything yet so all they wanted to do was get them for trespassing, go figure. No wonder they aint worried about getting caught!

Seems like a lot of times they are more worried about the rights of the criminals than the victims. Lot of good policemen and women out there, but many times their hands are tied because of some of the liberal laws passed by the crooks we have in Washington DC and many state capitals. I hate to think I voted for some of them.
Didn't mean to git all riled up, but the fact you can't trust hardly anyone bugs the sh-- outta me. I keep all my vehicles locked up, and my boats inside a privacy fence.

Dag gone Chuck, that's some rotten a-- luck. I never lock mine either but probably should.

The Deputy said they go through neighborhoods and only hit the ones that are not locked.......so, don't give them the advantage. Also you know I don't have a dog........so that could have helped also. They don't won't to make noise and draw attention to themselves. Oh well, life goes on.
