Default Fishing in the rain, 9-10-09

Had rods in water a little after 8 am this morning, water temp was 78, cloudy and raining, NE wind 10 to 15. Caught fish everywhere!:D In brush, open water, a foot off bottom in 16 feet. 2 and 3 at a time. Got up with the same head ache I had when I went to bed last night, felt terrible, Having sinus trouble, started not to go. Boy am I glad I went. Caught around 70 crappie , 5 brim and 2 cats. Forgot all about the head ache, Rained till about 1 pm then it quit. ran out of minnows about 3 PM, had about 10 dozen. Called It a day. A GOOD DAY!:D
Here are a few pictures, did not take many in the rain, 2 of the over 13 inch fish..

Here is one of the depth finder with brush on it...

Got to get over this sinus crap so I can go after them again!

Moss, all fish were released. Now I am trying to decide whether to go back in the morning or go trout fishing with my dad and my son, just can't get them crappie off my mind. They have been doing real good trout fishing, thought I might go.

Congrats on a GREAT trip CB. It might get boring after awhile, but it'd be nice if they'd bite like that every trip I make in the next month or three.:D:D
