    Is there any information availabile on this hot spot. I fished
    It last year and was not disappointed.

    Seems like you have some info to share, you refer to it as a hotspot and having fished it last year with success. Are you talking crappie fishing? it is famed bass lake.

    John, I did indeed limit out for 2 weeks in a row on crappie and large mouth bass. It was around this time of year.

    Greg.
    Must have been a year with normal winter, at least for open water fishing. Glad to see you limited out on the crappie. As for the bass, no such thing as limiting out at that time of year. Only catch and release. The northern part( 2/3 miles of the lake) warms the quickest, less than 10 feet depth. Consequently. fish migrate to the warmer water( food,minnows etc) The area is loaded with weedbeds, stockpiles,docks and other fish holding structures.
