I am glad I had other commitments knew it would be bad. I am up that way quite a few Fridays hope to see you.
Well I really didn't want to go to the zoo today and decided to fish instead. It has been many years since I have tried to launch at Coffman Beach LOZ on a Saturday and got a quick reminder of why I don't fish on weekends. At 8:30 am the parking was all the way up the hill and wrapped around the next street. Probably 30 minutes to launch, who knows how long it would take to load up, and possible rain moving in later was enough deterrent for me to just go home and let the weekend warriors have at it. I'm glad I don't live to far away. I have next Friday and the following Monday off so a weekday sounds much better. I feel for the ones who only get to fish on weekends with the crowds, summer party boaters, and constant bombardment of tournament anglers.

I rarely fish when the worker bee's are around on weekends especially if it involves putting a boat in the water. Us retired folk or who have flexible schedules don't need to be around those kind.
did sunday but only because was fishing on a lake without much pressure.
Unfortunately we are still one of "those kind". But we try to avoid those busy spots. If we go to MT we get there early. We also go to Lick Creek for the smaller lot and not as busy but it can be crazy too. But 1 person can screw up the whole parking there. Instead of getting 5-6 more rigs in the lot if parked correctly they will park so everything else is blocked and no one else can park in it. Oh well. 17 more months and hubby will be retired and we can fish anytime.
