    Default Ranger RT188c

On the way down to Stockton yesterday morning I made a stop at Casey's in Eldorado Springs. New Ram pulls in towing a black Ranger RT188c. Couple guys get out, overalls, tee shirt. Good ol' boys. (I'm dressed the same)
I asked one how they liked the Ranger. He says "Ya know it's a really nice boat. But it leaks. Had it out 3 times and it leaked every time. We can't find anything so we're taking it back to the dealer."
That has to be a rare thing. You can see a video on how they are built and leak tested before they are shipped at Ranger's website.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

I have a Ranger 178 and absolutely love it. If it did leak I would think that it happened after it left the factory. I wonder how much it leaked? or did they put the plug in it snug?

I looked at the Ranger RT188C when shopping for a new boat. It was sharp looking and very well built. Front deck was to high for me. I ordered a Xpress H20PHC crappie boat. I think it is as well built with a larger motor and a little less of a price tag. We will see in 6 to 9 weeks.
